This is the slogan of Colorware BV, a Dutch company, specializing in the development of color management related products for the graphics industry. Colorware was founded in 2005 by Erik Koldenhof en Ruud Wentrup. One of the main products of Colorware is PressView, an easy to understand color management tool for use with printing presses and digital printers. New products are being developed for use in design studios and related companies, to improve the communications of the right color between creator and final producer.
Erik Koldenhof has been implementing, training and advising color management solutions for the graphic arts industry for the last 15 years. He has been a color consultant for many companies in the graphics industry and has been solving color problems for digital photography, prepress and printing companies in offset, heatset and flexo. Mr. Koldenhof understands the digital workflow by heart and his knowledge on color solutions is phenomenal. As a consultant and Certifying Partner of the Swiss Centre of Competence for Media and Printing Technology (UGRA) in the Netherlands and Belgium, Mr. Koldenhof has certified many printing companies according to the latest ISO12647-2 standard.
As Marketing and Sales Manager with Barco Display Systems, Ruud Wentrup has been a driving partner of the famous Barco Calibrator line of monitors for more than 16 years. The Barco display was seen as the reference standard for monitor color accuracy and full screen calibration. As one of the early adopters of color management solutions, Mr. Wentrup has successfully introduced Barco CobraMatch and other color management products for the graphic arts industry.
