In our daily practice, we try to work with delta-E color differences but based on a delta-E, we cannot determine if a color is either too bright or too dark, to Yellowish or too Blue. Although CIE-Lab and CIE-XYZ are already very helpful when analysing the spectral behavior of a color, it is not enough to give you a clear advise on how to correct a color.
One of the hidden technologies in PressView is Colorware's ChromaPlus technology. ChromaPlus analyses every aspect of a given color before we calculate a 'correction' for that color. The extended analysis of a color assures you with the best corection for that specific color. It simply takes out the last piece of spectral 'rocket science' in your printroom.
