Press Calibration

Press Calibration is the whole process of bringing the printing press to a certain standard (e.g. ISO12647-2), given a specific paper and ink combination, determine the correct ink layer thickness and calculate the corresponding CTP curves. This Press Calibration is often done based on a specific print test form.

You need to do a Press Calibration to get to ISO.
