ChromaPlus technology

In our daily practice, we try to work with delta-E color differences, but we cannot determine if a color is either too bright or too dark, to Yellowish or too Blue based on a delta-E alone. Although CIE-Lab and CIE-XYZ are already very helpful when analyzing the spectral behavior of a color, they’re not enough to give you a clear advice on how to correct a color.

One of the hidden technologies in PressView is Colorware’s ChromaPlus technology. ChromaPlus analyzes every aspect of a given color before we calculate a ‘correction’ for that color. The extended analysis of a color gives you the best correction for that specific color. It simply takes out the last piece of spectral ‘rocket science’ in your printroom.

ChromaPlus works in close harmony with PressView’s Printability test so that we can calculate the exact color correction for any paper and ink combination, including the exact dry back of the wet printing inks!
