PressView’s Process Control module is the complete tool set for the press operator. It measures a broad variety of industry standard or custom designed color bars. In other words, if your device can measure it, we can handle it.

PressView can drive most industry standard devices natively like Techkon SpectroDens, SpectroJet and SpectroDrive, X-Rite EyeOne, 500/900 series, Intellitrax S. The system is capable of importing measurement files from Komori PDC/SII and Heidelberg ImageControl as well.

The Process Control module is used to quickly analyze color per ink zone (offset production) or any type of QA color bar (Ugra/Fogra, IDEALLIANCE, custom) and provide detailed information about current print production quality, color gamut, dot gain, gray balance, substrate, spot colors and much more.

Press operators use it to maintain a consistent production quality, manually or in closed loop. We connect directly to Rutherford AutoPilot, DI Inkzone Loop and Printflow so that we can run most machines out there without any problem.

Print room and QA managers use it to track color quality on a per job basis or to monitor long term performance. Print reports for internal or external communication. Show your customer that you maintain consistent quality at the highest level possible.

 

Total flexibility and usability

There is no limit to what you can do. Any color bar, any amount of spot colors which can be mapped to any position on the control bar. As long as your device can measure it, PressView can handle it.

We have a strong focus on usability for the operator. In a real world production environment not everything behaves like we expect. Based on user feed back we always try to optimize the usability of the system making sure the operator can always proceed with his or her work. PressView has built-in intelligence to recognize repeating ‘error triggering’ situations and remembers them so that they do not interfere production.
